A Journey to a Healthier You: My Weight Loss Experience

My journey toward a healthier lifestyle began with struggles related to unhealthy eating habits and a lack of regular exercise. Initially, my efforts were focused on cutting out sugar and processed foods, replacing them with healthier options like vegetables and fruits. Regular physical activity, including activities like walking and strength training, slowly became an integral part of my daily routine.

My Personal Weight Loss Story
When I got married, my weight was 37 kg, and I was relatively thin. However, life took a different path. After giving birth to my first child in 2011, I gained weight to 55 kg, and after my second child in 2016, my weight increased to 70 kg.
At 70 kg, I felt extremely uncomfortable with my weight. I often felt tired after minimal physical exertion, had trouble climbing stairs, and experienced shortness of breath. I wasn't happy with this lifestyle and wanted to make a change. My weight loss journey began after making some significant lifestyle adjustments.
Key Changes in My Lifestyle
Here are some of the key changes I made to improve my health and achieve my weight loss goals:
I started drinking a morning beverage consisting of green vegetables and fruits. If I couldn't, I drank warm water with lemon. I increased the amount of green vegetables and fruits in my diet, replacing gravy vegetables with dry vegetables and homemade masala. I reduced my intake of rice and sugar, opting for a protein-rich diet to help curb hunger. I incorporated activities like lemon water detox water, apple cider vinegar, and drinking more water. It's crucial to avoid drinking water immediately after meals and to drink water at least 60 minutes after eating. I minimized fast food and started cooking home-cooked meals, including multigrain bread prepared at home. Physical activities, like dancing, became a regular part of my routine. I danced at home for 30 to 40 minutes once a day.Through consistency and patience, I experienced the positive outcomes of these changes. The weight loss journey was challenging but rewarding. Today, I feel healthier, more energetic, and much happier with my new lifestyle.
