Received Admission Offer
Some fortunate applicants have been able to share their success stories and the timeline of their admissions process:
Round 3 Application and Telephonic Interview
Glen Reuben Dsouza said:
I received an offer of admission for the YIF Class of 2020. I applied in Round -3 around March end. My telephonic interview took place in the first week of April 2019, and my personal interview was held on April 29th, 2019.
Round 1 Application and Telephonic Personal Interviews
Another applicant, who preferred to remain anonymous, said:
I received an offer of admission for the YIF Class of 2020. I applied in Round -1 on 15th November 2018. My telephonic interview was on 28th December 2018, and I had my personal interview at Bangalore on 19th January 2019. I received the acceptance email from the admissions team on 1st February 2019. The entire process took three months, and it was definitely worth the wait.
Waitlisted and Accepted
Ayush Wadhwa, another applicant, said:
I got a mail on February 1st afternoon from YIF that I was selected for the class of 2020. My personal interview happened on 18th January at Bangalore.
Still on Waitlist
Another applicant mentioned, with a different batch:
Yesterday, I got an email that I have been put in the waitlist for the 2018-19 batch. If you also got this email, feel free to contact me for further updates: yugam1wadhwa@
Received Acceptance After Delayed Process
An applicant shared their experience:
Well, a few days back, I received my acceptance letter. I had been waiting for two months as my interview happened on 14th February. I did call them once or twice as I was becoming impatient but they are also not at fault because they have received a large number of applications this year and the process is taking a bit longer. It's okay if you haven't received anything yet. Be patient and have faith. Good things take time.
Final Thoughts
The YIF admissions process can be both exciting and nerve-wracking. While some have been fortunate to receive their offers quickly, others have had to wait for confirmation. It is important to remain patient and persistent. If you're still in the process, take heart in knowing that these experiences are not unique and the right opportunity is on its way for you.
