Embrace Eternity with Purpose: The True Meaning of Self-Improvement and Divine Salvation

According to 1 John 5:19, 'We know that we are from God, but the world is under the control of the wicked one, so Satan rules over it. We have been held to ransom, lived in exile, away from our Creator God.'

Jesus’ Sacrifice and Eternal Freedom

Fortunately, Jesus, the son of God, came to redeem us. His voluntary death, serving as a ransom price, brought us freedom from our slavery to Satan and the sinful conditions brought about by his tyranny. In the near future, we will experience freedom from sin, pain, suffering, sickness, old age, and death, as God prepares a new world for humanity.

As mentioned in 2 Peter 3:13, 'There are new heavens and a new earth that we are awaiting according to His promise, and in these righteousness is to dwell.' Salvation, therefore, is about gaining God's approval through obedience and imitating Jesus, who also gave us commandments to follow.

Life and Inheritance on Earth

When will this perfect existence come to us? While it will not take place in Heaven, a beautiful life without limitations will happen on Earth. Psalm 37:29 clearly states, 'The righteous will possess the earth, and they will live forever on it.' Revelation 21:4 further confirms this, 'And He [God] will wipe every tear from their eyes. DEATH and mourning and crying and pain will no longer exist, for the former things have passed away.'
