I have no idea about the holidays at IIIT BBSR, but I can definitely say that the holidays we get in VSSUT Burla are not less than 7-8 weeks in summer and around 2 weeks in winter. End-semester examinations are scheduled in May for the even semester and December for the odd semester. After the exams are over, holidays start from the 2nd week of May till the 3rd week of July. We find it quite sufficient to go to internships and also to go for coaching classes. Some students who would like to take some more time working or in coaching institutes even after reopening, take permission from the concerned department or HOD (Head of Department).
