Missing My College During the Pandemic
While I don't have personal experiences or feelings, I understand that many students have had mixed feelings about missing college during the pandemic. For some, it was a time of isolation and loss of social interaction; for others, the flexibility of online learning was appreciated. If you're looking for support or resources related to this experience, feel free to ask!
The College I Miss
I miss my college life at Sanskriti University. The college environment is an excellent setup for education, with all the necessary facilities. The campus is equipped with unlimited Wi-Fi, smart boards, play areas, and well-equipped laboratories. It is an eco-friendly university, and the central and departmental libraries have a vast collection of books. There are many well-maintained open-air theatres for hosting fests and cultural programs.
Top Indian University—Academic Excellence
Sanskriti University stands out as one of the best Indian universities academically. It was ranked 40th in an international survey, showcasing its remarkable academic standing. The student-professor bond here is exceptional; the professors are some of the eminent writers and academics in India. The course curriculum is industry-aligned, ensuring that students are well-prepared for their future careers. Seniors are highly helpful and enthusiastic, maintaining a beautiful collaborative environment.
Opportunities and Collaborations
The university has a strong track record of 100% placements for its top-notch courses. Despite being one of the best, the course fees are relatively nominal. Students are often offered many job opportunities with high salaries, not limited to technical fields. Various research opportunities and different types of internships are available to students. This combination of affordability and career potential makes Sanskriti University a standout choice for many.
Adapting to Online Learning
While I was initially accepted to attend the college theoretically, the sudden shift to online learning was a phenomenon that everyone had to adapt to. Practically, the system is better in terms of noise levels and ease of access. The sudden adjustment was also safer as things took time to get used to. Being close to the college, distance was still a challenge, but adapting to new things in Canada in 2021 was a significant turning point. I finally felt a sense of belonging in this place and have been grateful to adapt to this new situation. The fear and anxiety of moving to a new country eventually faded as I embraced my new life.
Conclusion
Life in Sanskriti University and abroad during the pandemic might have been challenging, but the spirit and dedication of the students and staff were inspiring. While I miss the college environment, the experience taught me valuable lessons about resilience and adaptation. The future is bright for those who navigate these challenges with the right mindset and support.
