The Humorous Classroom Incident
One particularly memorable moment occurred in high school. During a statistics lesson, I, along with two friends named Y and X, were sitting together. Y was seated in the middle, and X was on the right. Our math teacher, Mrs. Smith, began the lesson on statistics, covering concepts like raw data, arranged data, and frequency tables. X, who was distracted, did not pay much attention. When Mrs. Smith asked, “What is data?” X responded, saying 'the data is what we use in mobile.' This humorous mistake triggered a bout of laughter from Y and me. We stifled our amusement as the whole class intently awaited our next reaction to this amusing answer.
The Unexpected Theorem Proof
In another instance, during a class where we were supposed to discuss a complex theorem, our math teacher presented a challenge. He posed a question to the class asking if anyone could prove the theorem using a different method than the one covered in the textbook. I confidently stood up at my desk, surprised that no one else was volunteering. I managed to present an alternative proof right from where I stood without moving, to the surprise of my classmates and the teacher alike. This moment of unexpected success brought a sense of satisfaction and pride, but more importantly, it encouraged me to continue exploring mathematical concepts.

While I consider myself to be less inclined towards mathematics compared to other subjects, there have been specific moments that highlight my progress in the subject. In class 8, I achieved a remarkable score of 18 out of 20 in a math test, marking it as one of my proudest moments as a math student. These achievements were modest yet significant for me, as I never excelled in mathematics. The excitement of solving sums and obtaining correct answers has always been a source of joy and pride. Even though I have never scored the highest marks, the positive reinforcement from my teachers, particularly when they remarked that I was good at math despite not taking the subject seriously, has been motivating.
