Reflections on ISC 2019: A Journey Through Exams and Achievements
It's been quite an academic journey, marked by peaks and valleys, successes and challenges. In this reflection, I will share my experiences and achievements from my ISC 2019 exams. Whether it was humanities, science, or a mix of both, every subject taught me valuable lessons in perseverance and dedication.
Choosing the Path: Humanities
When it came to choosing subjects for my ICSE and ISC exams, I opted for humanities due to my deep interest in the subject. Over the last two years, my academic performance was steady, but by the time it was time for my 12th-grade exams, my scores took a slight dip. However, I remained determined to work hard, especially for history, a subject that holds a great deal of significance for me. Achieving a perfect 100 in history was a goal I worked tirelessly towards, and it means the world to me.
Results and Reactions
Here is a snapshot of my 2019 academic results:
History: 100 – A long-held dream fulfilled Maths: 97 – Lost a mark in practicals, not the best, but still okay English: 97 – Consistent performance, no need for improvement Hindi: 97 – A disappointing mark, but I tried my best Computer Science: 100 – Expected, and always a delightful score to see Chemistry: 87 – Much less than expected, but the curve remained even in this subject Physics: 91 – Expected a bit more, but the curriculum is tough. From these results, it's clear that I performed well in subjects I was particularly interested in, which is a testament to the hard work and dedication. With a best of four score of 98.75%, I achieved AIR 6, a position I was expecting.
Additional Reflections
When it comes to specific terms, the highest marks in English and also achieving the best three subjects were the standout moments. English, a subject that often defies expectations, gave me a perfect 100, which was a surprising and delightful outcome. Another subject that brought joy was Computer Science, where I managed to achieve a perfect 100, a feat I celebrated with pride. In contrast, Chemistry was a surprise letdown, as my expectations were not met. However, in Physics, I managed to secure the second-highest score in the school, a minor disappointment but still a significant achievement.
Conclusion
In conclusion, the 2019 ISC exams were a mixed bag of results. Despite some dips and disappointments, including a lower score in chemistry, the overall performance reaffirmed my commitment to my studies and my desire for academic success. It's a journey of continuous learning, where every subject, whether daunting or exhilarating, teaches a profound lesson. What matters most is the determination to strive for the best, and that journey continues.
