Currently studying in Santa Clara University they seem to not care for students. I am doing my Masters program and it feel like what ever trouble your facing is best to keep it to yourself than tell someone. They don't advice or help someone when required. Staffs are bit negligent especially during exam since most of them are part-time lecturers and work in industry. Its very expensive school too. I would prefer a different college anytime that this one.

Due to personal reasons I went there and got a business undergraduate degree in 1993 and look back at the four years that I was there to be the beginning of the worst years of my life. When I was there there seemed to be a lot of cliques and I couldn’t fit into a single one of them. In fact I remember my freshman year when someone put swastikas all over my door. I drove home crying hysterically and asked the RAs to help — they didn’t seem to care at all. The following year I was one of the first residents of Casa Italiana mostly because I couldn’t find a roommate — I had no friends and already had a very bad reputation from both the students and the professors. I hated that place even more the RA dated one of the residents I remember having a crush on one of my dormmates — she ended up writing a 6 page letter telling me off which made me suicidal. Did the RAs help me in this situation Not only did they not help me they locked their doors and refused to answer the door when I asked for help. I wanted so badly to leave that school but I had no choice but to stay. I barely had enough credits to graduate in 4 years graduated in a program that didn’t prepare me for the real world and it is now nearly 35 years later and I am underemployed in a location where companies are fighting with each other for even marginal students and I can’t get a decent job. Say what you want about the place - I really hated that place and I will until my dying breath.
