Scholarship Types at NIFTM

The NIFTM Merit Scholarship is awarded to the top three students in each academic batch. NIFTM Merit-Cum-Means Scholarship
This type of scholarship is awarded to students who demonstrate both academic merit and financial need. The scholarship is limited to six students from each of the five streams, selected based on their merit and means criteria. Recipients will enjoy full tuition fee waiver and a fixed monthly stipend for ten months during both semesters of the academic year.
Eligibility Criteria
NIFTM Merit Scholarship
The student must have completed all courses without any breaks for the semesters applicable (1st for 2nd sem, 1st and 2nd for 2nd year, etc.). The student must have cleared all courses of the concerned semester in the first available chance. The student's eligibility will be judged by combining the scores of both semesters. The student must not have been penalized or awarded any major disciplinary action by the institute's disciplinary committee. The student must meet both merit and means criteria set by the institute and approved by the Board of Management. The annual gross income of the parent's from all sources should not exceed Rs. 250,000/-. Students will not be considered if they have passed their 2 examinations from schools with an annual tuition fee of more than Rs. 30,000.00 per annum. The student must have passed all papers in the first available chance and must have achieved at least a 60 score or a B grade. The student must not have been penalized or awarded major disciplinary punishment by the institute's disciplinary committee.Calculation of Merit-Cum-Means Scores
The merit-cum-means scores are calculated by giving equal weightage to parental income and student merit as follows:
