Seized by Evil and Rescued by Heroes: A Playful Journey Through Video Games
Imagine the scenario: you are kidnapped by the main antagonist of your latest video game, and you need the heroes from your previous game to save you. Is doom inevitable, or could fate have a surprise in store for you?
Let's take a closer look at these scenarios and analyze the likelihood of survival and the dynamics of these video game characters.
You Are Kidnapped by the Main Antagonist of Human Fall Flat (or its Preceding Game)
During my most recent gaming session, I found myself in a precarious position while playing Human Fall Flat, a cooperative video game known for its physics-based puzzles and comical adventures. If the scenario extended to the game before that, the gears of war in Gear? Rajasthan would have come to my rescue. These large, muscular characters would be more than a match for the main antagonists of Human Fall Flat. However, that leads us to a different story.
Enter Jin from Ghost of Tsushima. This fearless warrior, who embodies the spirit of Japan in the 12th century, would undoubtedly save me from any kidnapping. In fact, while Jin's rescue might be the ideal scenario, the situation could be even more favorable for me, given Jin's portrayal in Ghost of Tsushima.
While Jin's character is significantly more formidable and prevents people from falling into false messiahs, her methods do not please everyone in the game world. According to Jin's beliefs, making people confront their guilty pasts and work for one's own redemption is a form of ultimate liberation. However, for me, such experiences would probably result in a much simpler journey. I'd simply confess my past sins, work for redemption, and perhaps even start a small ministry to help others. This scenario is almost too perfect to be true.
A Nightmarish Chasing Scene Involving the DJ Music Man from FNaF Security Breach
According to my recent gaming experiences, the DJ Music Man from FNaF Security Breach could target me next. To be fair, I'm not sure if he qualifies as a true boss, but the nature of his special music and chase scenes make it a unique threat. While Gregory from FNaF Security Breach was able to escape the DJ the first time, the challenge is different this time with a 'pretty heavy dragon kid' strapped to one's back. It's anyone's guess if Gregory can rise to the challenge again.
Leviathan Reaper in Subnautica
My last significant gaming experience before Subnautica was a harrowing encounter with the Leviathan Reaper in Subnautica. By this point in the game, the Leviathan Reaper has likely become the largest and most formidable antagonist to challenge players. Even though I'm still quite early in the game, it's evident that this creature's power is immense. This prompts the question: which game precedes Subnautica, and what type of protagonist could face such an adversary?
Playing Subnautica would require a protagonist with immense strength and resilience, capable of facing not only the Leviathan Reaper but also the challenges of an alien ocean biome. It's clear that the protagonist of the preceding game would need to exhibit exceptional fighting skills. In fact, a 'one-man fucking army' would be well-suited to this challenge. This protagonist would single-handedly defeat the Leviathan Reaper and presumably any other challenges that the player might face.
The Final Boss of Atelier Lulua
In a different video game, I was kidnapped by the final boss of Atelier Lulua. The rescue would be led by Clive from Final Fantasy XVI, a character known for his relentless pursuit of justice and his immense combat prowess. Clive, with his past as the 'god of his realm,' has defeated the giant rusty bot, making him an exceptional candidate to save me. However, his powerful presence might be overkill for such a scenario, and the experience would likely be overwhelmingly exciting.
Conclusion
Ultimately, the video game involve scenario of being kidnapped by a main antagonist and needing a protagonist from a previous game to save you can be both thrilling and humorous. Each game offers its unique set of challenges and the characters involved bring their own set of dynamics. Who knows—maybe one day, a video game will even include a heroic character who can reconcile the past and present, ultimately leading to a firsthand experience with redemption and justice.
Stay tuned for more adventures in the realm of video games and see if your favorite protagonists can save you from the clutches of the villains they once battled!
