In West Bengal, medical colleges in February 2021 have resumed their academic sessions. The Neet Medical Commission (NMC) has issued a notice indicating that medical colleges will begin again on or before December 1, 2021. For the session 2020-2021, the commencement is scheduled for February 1, 2021, which is highly delayed, giving the 2021-2022 cohort nearly a 4-month head start. The first professional exams for the 2021-2022 session will be held in January 2022.
Engineering Classes Start for 2021 Batch
The Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) have already started online classes for the 2021-2022 batch. National Institutes of Technology (NITs) will also commence their online classes on December 7, 2021. There will be a one-semester gap between the 2020-2021 and 2021-2022 sessions for engineering students.
