The Incomplete Narrative of Indian History
I remember vividly the year 1967 when a renowned history book author appeared on a stage function. To my astonishment, he admitted to the audience that his work was manipulated by politicians who forced him to write what they wanted, and he feared writing the real history. This confession intrigued me deeply and I began to question the authenticity of the history taught in schools. Since then, I have been continuously reflecting on the discrepancy between what is written and what is hidden between the lines of our textbooks.
While delving deeper into the chronology of history, I discovered that many stories were mere imaginative constructs by the authors. As my inquiry became more thorough, I uncovered aspects of our recent history that have been deliberately concealed from the public. Even to this day, I wonder if any genuine Hindu is still alive.
In my research, I found that our forefathers were likely expelled from their homes and even murdered by invaders who arrived via sea routes with advanced weaponry. These invaders lived with local women and widows, and this process was believed to convert a significant part of the Indian subcontinent, from Karachi to Kolkata, and even the interior regions like Nagpur, in a relatively short span of time starting from 1498 when Vasco da Gama discovered the sea route to India. The history books abruptly transition to the British Rule era from 1800 to 1947, omitting any significant events from the years 1500 to 1700.
Our historians have meticulously hidden these crucial decades, erasing the real history of the battles and invasions that took place. Nearly 10 to 25 generations ago, countless fleets of ships with armed men, including pirates, consistently landed on the entire Indian coastline. These were infamously dark and violent periods, yet they have been conveniently bypassed and forgotten.
Avoiding Leftist Narratives
One cannot ignore the role of leftist parties in shaping our historical discourse. By consistently portraying themselves as benefactors, they have hidden the darker truths of their rule. History, an essential mirror of our past, should reflect both the positives and negatives. However, they have selectively focused on their accomplishments while ignoring their shortcomings.
Voting for leftist parties would only perpetuate this falsehood. These political entities operate with a biased narrative, often glossing over the darker aspects of their rule. Instead of relying solely on historical propaganda, we must encourage the exposure and discussion of the truth. Historical narratives should be balanced and comprehensive.
It is imperative to support genuine voices and movements that strive to uncover the truth. While the path to revealing the full history may be challenging, it is vital for the health and progress of our society. It is essential not to be swayed by labels but to support those who fight for the truth, regardless of whether they are perceived as aligned with the right or left.
In conclusion, the past is a complex web of events and individuals, and our understanding of it is a continuous journey. Engage in discussions, seek out multiple perspectives, and support the genuine efforts to uncover the true history of India. History is not just about the past; it is a guide for the future. Let us strive to reveal the entire picture and ensure that future generations learn the complete story.
