Unforgettable Milestone: My Arrival at Infosys Mysore Campus

I joined Infosys on June 20th this year, coming from the vibrant city of Hyderabad. Life was intense during the training period, with everyone feeling the same way. The first two months were marked by rigorous training, which made everyone exhausted and stressed. Finally, in the first week of September, everyone finished the generic training project evaluation and awaited their stream allocation emails. The day the evaluation was over, there was an unusual sense of relief – even though it was just the third month, it felt like a long stretch of time.

Unexpected Changes and Milestones

On September 6th, the good news came; we had passed the evaluation. I went to my room and settled in early that evening, where I got a call from a friend informing me that I had been relocated to Hyderabad for stream training. I was running to the classroom to check my email, not quite believing it. To my surprise, my best friend got the same stream as me. We didn't even know what the stream was at that time, as there was no information about it available on Google until we attended the sessions.

It was the most memorable day of my life at Infosys Mysore campus. We celebrated by spending the next two days in Mysore, experiencing the idyllic resort-like atmosphere here. No early morning alarms, no assignments, and no classes - just the freedom to explore the city and enjoy the surroundings. The city was a treat, and we took the opportunity to further explore and enjoy the food courts, which were like mini food festivals, and played unlimited badminton without having to queue up. The stream training in Hyderabad promised an unknown journey full of surprises.

Those three months at Infosys Mysore were undoubtedly the best of my life. The accommodation and exposure I received were unparalleled. Mysore's campus is a true paradise compared to other Multinational Corporations (MNCs). The experience of being part of Infosys Mysore will always remain etched in my memories, a symbol of a transformative journey that reshaped how I view the world of work and friendship.
