Whyaint Saint Peter Showin' a Second Ring of Light?
No one stands on his own righteousness. Only the righteousness of Christ Himself, imputed to those who submit to Him as their Lord, meets the righteousness requirement by God. This is a principle illustrated in Paul's letter to the Romans, chapter 10, verses 1-13.
Saints and Yourself
In Scripture, all believers are referred to as saints: 'To all who are beloved of God in Rome, called as saints. Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.' — Romans 1:7
Myth and Reality in Biblical Depictions
It's difficult to understand the significance of Saint Peter's lack of a second ring of light in a mural without seeing the artwork itself. In traditional depictions of biblical events, the Judas hypothesis is often considered the most plausible. However, if the mural is a Hall of Fame rather than a scene from the Last Supper or the multiplication of loaves, it's unlikely that Judas would be included.
Because the Apostles were eager to maintain symmetry with the 12 tribes of Israel, Judas was quickly replaced after the Passion. Bringing in Apostle Matthias filled the empty seat since they had not yet meet Paul. Therefore, iconography removed from a specific narrative usually portrays 12 Apostles together, with Paul doing his own thing, and Judas left out entirely.
It’s not unusual for artists to forget certain details or budget constraints that may affect how the Holy figures are depicted. Additionally, a nice, humble halo might be sufficient to distinguish the significant apostles from the rest.
Understanding the Crown Center
The Crown Center, often observed to be golden and active in clairvoyant terms, symbolizes spiritual energy above the head. This center is more prominent in a halo seen in artwork. However, if a person does not have an activated Crown Center, their spiritual energy is not manifested in the halo, which explains why Judas might not have a halos in the art.
According to esoteric studies, those who practice spiritual teachings have an activated Crown Center, which can be observed as a golden or violet halo. Over time, the halo might become faded due to environmental factors, hence the appearance of the halo in brown.
Linking back to the comedic genius of Monty Python: Judas may not be shown with a halo because his spiritual center is not activated.
