XAT Marking Scheme
The XAT exam consists of four sections: Verbal and Logical Ability, Decision Making, Quantitative Ability, Data Interpretation, and General Knowledge. Each section has a specific marking scheme as follows:
Marking Scheme for Each Section
Verbal and Logical Ability: 1 mark for each correct answer, -0.25 marks for each incorrect answer, and -0.1 marks for every 8 consecutive or more unattempted questions. Decision Making: 1 mark for each correct answer, -0.25 marks for each incorrect answer, and -0.1 marks for every 8 consecutive or more unattempted questions. Quantitative Ability and Data Interpretation: 1 mark for each correct answer, -0.25 marks for each incorrect answer, and -0.1 marks for every 8 consecutive or more unattempted questions. Total Duration: 3 hours and 30 minutes (210 minutes) Total Questions: 101 questions - 78 questions in Part 1 and 23 questions in Part 2.
